When should I repair vs. replace my AC?
A good rule of thumb: if the repair cost is more than half the price of a new system, and the unit is 12 or more years old, replacement usually wins on energy savings and reliability. If the system is under 10 years old, repair is almost always the right call. We will quote both options honestly and let you choose.
